Xiaomi Redmi 6 – Design and build quality
Looking at the Xiaomi Redmi 6 smartphone, it seems that aesthetics haven’t evolved much as compared to the Redmi 5. The phone looks uninspiring with large size Display bezels all around and a bland plastic back. Xiaomi also doesn’t seem to get bored with the same back layer design which has been around for more than 3 years now.
Both the Xiaomi Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A smartphone look almost the same. The We’d have expected Xiaomi doing things a little bit different this time, at least with Redmi 6. The Redmi Y2 that retails in the same budget look better and hot phone. But maybe these flaws are excusable at this Rupees point.
Display and Storage
Xiaomi Redmi 6 phone was launched on June 20k8. The phone comes with a 5.45-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720 pixels by 1440 pixel and a pixel density of 295 PPI. In terms of colors, The Redmi 6 display with default settings looks a little pale. The Redmi 6 display’s brightness levels are good enough for indoors usage though feel slightly underwhelming outdoors, especially with the sun beating down. In addition, this device offers a fingerprint sensor on the back side of the phone.
As for the storage, the smartphone with an internal capacity of 32GB which is good enough for storing a good number of multimedia files and documents. But by using an SD card, you can further extend up to 256GB
Camera and Battery
The Xiaomi Redmi 6 device equipped with a primary camera setup containing 12MP and 5MP lenses which capture quality images as well as is capable of recording quality videos. Xiaomi has also added electronic image stabilization (EIS), which is rare for phones in this price range. In the front camera, the device provides a 5MP lens which allows you to take selfies.
The smartphone gets its required energy from a 3,000mAh Li-ion battery which is good enough to keep the show running even for a full day. It measures (height x width x thickness) 147.50 x 71.50 x 8.30 and weighs 146.00 grams.

The device Smartphone is powered by a Cortex A53 octa-core processor which runs at a clock speed of 2GHz. The processor with a 3GB RAM which assures that the device can perform well while handling multiple tasks simultaneously. A Power GE8320 GPU is also present in the smartphone to help with the graphical requirements. The combination is seated upon a MediaTek processor Helio P22 chipset. In terms of connectivity, the Xiaomi Redmi 6 provides a range of options including a 4G with VoLTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Mobile Hotspot, GPS and a micro USB as well.
